We have been bringing our sweet Bati to James for years, and I honestly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with her. He is not only an incredibly talented groomer but also such a genuinely kind and personable person. Every single visit, James greets Bati with warmth and affection, which immediately puts her (and us!) at ease. The consistency of his work is unmatched—her cuts are always perfect, and she comes home looking and feeling her best. What makes James stand out even more is the care and love he shows for the dogs he works with; you can tell he truly loves what he does. We happily travel an hour each way just to bring Bati to him at Kriser’s, because the peace of mind and quality we get with James is worth every mile. He is a rare gem, and we are so grateful to have found him. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like family.

I take my somewhat reactive German Shepherd mix to Wilmette Krisers for a nail grind every month. I don’t ask for anyone specific; he does well with every provider. He’d been abused in his early life, but he responds well to them; it only takes five or ten minutes. I take him out because I like to socialize him in different situations. Krisers has been a very positive experience for him.
