My kids really enjoyed the unplugged experience. They had such a great time with all the staff. Paco and salty were my son’s favorite counselors. He won’t stop raving about them. My daughter really enjoyed her time in the explorers unit. They both can’t wait to come back next year. They both said the food was amazing. Which was a shock to me as they are both extremely picky eaters. Thank you camp Seymour and staff for the lasting memories you made with my children this summer.

I didn’t attend my daughter did. She raved about how much she enjoyed camp. Would like to go for two weeks next summer and become a counselor when she is older.

The kids had a great time, and spoke highly of their experience. They were pushed outside of their comfort zone, but also given the choice to participate to the degree they wanted to, which they appreciated. They complained a bit about the rigidity of the rules, but as a parent I appreciate the guardrails!

My boy was very nervous to go camp. After he came back he was disappointed he hadn’t gone sooner! He said it was fun and even though he didn’t know anyone when he showed up, he left with several new friends! Great job, YMCA!

The counselors and camp leaders there were very good to my nephew. They took him under their wing and made sure he had a good time. He misses his camp counselor Victor very much and hopes to see him next year. I’m so grateful to all the staff.

My daughter moved to a new state and we threw her into Camp Seymour hoping she would make some friends. She not only made lifelong friends, but this group of kids made a point to join LDP year-long together, go for round two of summer camp Quest together, and created future plans of how they were going to make it a priority to do it all again next year. I can't say enough how thankful I am for the opportunity the YMCA and Camp Seymour have given to my daughter. She has learned to speak for herself, be a leader, and has grown more than I could have imagined from a summer camp.

This was our granddaughter’s second time at Camp Seymour. She loves it! We have been very impressed with her counselors we have met, and she says she had awesome cabin mates.

My 9 year old attended Camp Seymour for the first time this year and and he absolutely loved it. We’ve done a lot of summer camps (but never an overnight) and I was blown away by how organized, clean and well run this was. Everything had attention and detail. We will be back!

It's not what I like about Camp Seymour, but what my kids like about Camp Seymour! Both of my kids attended overnight camp at Camp Seymour (different weeks) and they love the friends they made, camp staff, the food and all the activities! They can't wait to go back next summer!

My kids absolutely loved their experience there. Even my reluctant and shy 11 year old. He left there smiling and didn't stop talking the entire way home about the camp. My daughter also loved her experience. The only feedback he had for Mountsneer was that they had to choose activities and they were the sane every day and the initial line for rock climbing and archery were so long, he didn't get to so those activities. So I'd maybe give kids a chance to switch the more popular activities so there is a chance for everyone. And also prompt the kids of give them a chance to exchange info to stay in touch after if they so choose. My daughter was so busy having fun, she forgot to get phone numbers, etc to stay in touch after! But we will still definitely return next year!!!

The staff were so friendly and full of spirit. All of the activities looked so fun and my daughter loved getting to have a choice in what she participated in each day. She felt so safe and had a blast!

Primarily, the fact that my 11 year old comes back from it so happy and brimming over with stories. Secondarily, the energy and enthusiasm and smiles from the counselors when we drop her off. And the beautiful setting.
