The team is great! I knew every time I dropped my daughter off that she would be well cared for and have a great time. The communication was great and the price was affordable. I can't recommend this program highly enough!

They are always very active with the children. They’re always doing something. I don’t just let them sit around. They respect my children and my children. Respect the counselors very highly.

My kid really likes the staff and loves the field trips. The cradle of forestry and the zoo was her favorite. She sometimes has separation anxiety from me and they staff let her bring her stuffed animal Monkey. They even know Monkey by name and believe me this Monkey is in family pictures and goes everywhere with us. I really recommend YMCA summer camp. She is already excited about after school with the Y this year.

My child loves the different themes each week and she looks forward to certain days based on what is planned. She always has a lot of fun so that is peace of mind for a parent. Also, cannot say enough good things about Cam. He is so organized, communicates well and has done a great job with the program this year.

My daughter was at the Erwin district last summer and absolutely HATED it. The staff were not attentive, didn't check ID's. Barely done any craft activities with the kids. The negative exposure she got from the other children at that Erwin district was astounding. This year she is at Beaverdam and LOVES it. The councilors are so good with the kids. The themed weekly stuff is wonderful. She looks forward to going every day. I don't even have to send her for childcare on Fridays but she begs to go. I can only hope that all the camps are brought up to par to compare to Beaverdam.
