I love Jill. She's consistent, observant, friendly, and above all, she knows what she's doing! Each session is new, but familiar, never above what I can do, and I can really tell the difference in how my body feels after only a few classes. She keeps me coming back.
Yoga House's gentle and beginning classes are systematic and methodical, and establish good, safe yoga practice to be firmly grounded before continuing to more advanced classes. Especially Jill Zepazaurs's classes - she is hands down the best gentle yoga teacher for beginners and those returning to yoga after a long absence!
The hatha class I took was lovely and the studio itself was very inviting and comfortable. Good energy. The acoustics in the room to the right were not so great though. Sometimes I couldn't make out what the instructor was saying. Not sure if there's anything you can do about that though.
I returned for a yoga session on Wednesday evening after a 6 or 7 year absence. Being warmly greeted at the desk as well as by my yoga instructor made me feel welcome and helped ease me back into my yoga practice after such a long absence.
